Perfect Lighting and Efficiency
The lighting (sometimes LED Bulbs are used) of a photograph is essential to its success. The problem or the good thing about lighting, depending on your view, is that the possibilities are endless. It is the most important element of any photography and can affect the composition, change the mood or the feeling of your photograph. Basically it can make or break your photograph. If the light is behind the subject then the subject will become darker and you need to adjust your settings in order to compensate this. Side-lighting can create mood and if you successfully achieve a silhouette then this can portray intensity and intrigue.
In order to take a fresh approach to portrait photograph then you can experiment with angles and the positioning of the lens. This can add an arty edge to your photograph. Angles can also flatter your subject or it can make them appear deformed so it is important to play around with the angles of your composition in order to create the desirable effect.
To a certain extent, photography is a trial and error process but if you remember the basics needed to create a great shot then you can apply them to any situation and produce an interesting and creative photograph. Most importantly, have fun with photography and it will show in your photographs.
